


Introduction
Jamie is a freelance musician that can play the piano and the bassoon. but he mainly works as a composer, conductor, and arranger. From his early teens, he has been composing music and playing the Piano, and the Bassoon.
He studied for his Degree in Music at Goldsmiths, University of London. Over the years Jamie has studied orchestral conducting with New Zealand born composer and conductor, Paul Sarcich, a senior teacher in Morley College London.
Jamie’s work has been spent time composing a variety of musical scores, for Film and TV, while also conducting with different groups in London. His best known work is writing the music for the TV series ‘Ghostcircle’ episodes and also being a co-presenter for the ‘Ghost Hunt’ section of the show. The show was originally aired on Sky TV in 2014, Series 2 followed in 2015, Series 3 aired 2017, and Series 4 in 2020. There are more episodes in the pipeline.
Other activities taken by Jamie include traveling around the UK, and Europe to over 16 different countries while filming with the TV series Ghostcircle. When he is not playing with several different orchestras, such as the Blackfriars Sinfonia or at Morely College; he is also teaches Piano to young students and plays as a freelance Bassoonist.
In February 2024 he recorded his first album over two days with the London Symphony Orchestra at LSO St Luke’s, London.

Lady Eliza Pakenham, Tullynally Castle, Co. Westmeath, Ireland. editor, writer and Journalist. Daughter of Thomas Francis Dermot Pakenham, 8th Earl of Longford.
Sybil Emmet-Booth and Elizabeth Cope, Shankill Castle, Owner and Artist,
Seigneur Peter de Sausmarez, Sausmarez Manor, Seigneur of Guernsey.
Theresita Wilczek-Khan. Owner of Moosham Castle Austria, Daughter of Count Hans-Heinrich and Countess Catherine Wilczek.
Dutch Radio and TV personality, Johan Vlemmix lived at Binnenveld House, he is also a singer and politician.
Rebecca Black editor and writer, owner of Clonony Castle. From Arizona, went to school with Steven Speilberg, her father won the Kentucky Derby and Belmont stakes.
Jamie composed an original baroque oboe piece for the episode we filmed in Fredric Handel’s house in Mayfair, London.
Jamie also composed a piece after filming a John Milton’s Cottage in Chalfont St. Giles, for the episode we did.
There was a commission of an original piece for “The Sealed Knot” the largest re-enactment group in Europe for their promotional video.
Some of his favourite works include,
- “Scotland’s Secret” at a secret location in Scotland,
- “Dante’s Fury” filmed at a Tuscany Castle,
- Lots of famous coaching Inn’s including an Inn cottage where Guy Fawkes mother lived that was haunted;
- A Museum in Prague that had Alchemy experiments for the King and Spying by Edward Kelley who was an Elisabeth I spy, also with possible links to Shakespeare too.
- Composed the music for Ireland’s Alcatraz prison “Spike Island”, once the largest prison in the world during Queen Victoria’s reign.
- Filming at Hever Castle, Anne Boleyn’s Castle in Kent, England.
- A huge German Schloss called “Erichsburg” which has a real special place for him as a piece.
- The Royal Baby score, composed for the birth of Prince George.
- Filming and being in Georg Friedrich Handel’s house in Mayfair, was an absolute favourite of his.
- Filming at Lady Colin Campbells Castle Goring, where the author Mary Shelly lived.
Jamie has a unique gift for melodies and a range of styles beyond any modern classical composer I know…..it would be hard to identify his unique style among the different pieces he has written.
